Plyometric exercises are used for explosiveness, power, and speed. This is why the use of them is great for football.  Plyometric training is using short but explosive exercises to generate power and are often completed at body weight meaning they can be completed at home!

Plyometric exercises are great for increasing power, increasing force, increase agility, improved level of control, a reduced chance of injury to joints and muscles as well as a heighted jump.
